Inspired by Julia Cameron's morning pages, the process is simple:
Put a journal and pen in your writing spot before you go to sleep for the night.
Upon awakening (get your coffee or tea, if you prefer!)
Sit in a spot where you have the best chance of being uninterrupted
Silence your inner critic
Choose a writing prompt if you feel stuck*
Spelling and grammar are unchecked
You don't have to clever and funny
Be whiny if you want
Keep your thoughts private
