Strike a Power Pose


Five Pointed Star - This pose is everything - Courage, Joy, Love, Life, Balance. Even when you are not feeling any of them - they are in you. The Star pose calls their names.

See the revelationary talk below from Amy Cuddy, the Harvard social psychologist, whose research measured physiological changes associated with "power posing" Strike a power pose and your testosterone levels rise, while cortisol levels, which are associated with stress, lower.

Try it! - Stand with your feet wide, toes pointed out, arms in the air, look up (if you feel steady) and hold the pose while you take three resfreshing breaths. For increased balance assistance, stand with your back against the wall. You can find the Five Pointed Star practice on this page.
