When Snow Flies

As the first frost date closely approaches in my part of the world; I always wonder if we will get snow in the winter. In this short film based on the poem "Choices" by Tess Gallagher, I hope you will enjoy the sights and sounds of falling snow.
At times in all of our lives we are faced with difficult choices where it seems there is no satisfying solution.
Whatever is going on in your life, perhaps today for a few minutes you could allow your breath to slow while you take in the stillness of a snowy morning. Create a moment in time just to be.
"Choices"
by Tess Gallagher
I go to the mountain side
of the house to cut saplings,
and clear a view to snow
on the mountain. But when I look up,
saw in hand, I see a nest clutched in
the uppermost branches.
I don’t cut that one.
I don’t cut the others either.
Suddenly, in every tree,
an unseen nest
where a mountain
would be.
